Our published studies — data free to reuse
Our published studies — page verified by the Chicken Road Productions newsroom.
The central catalogue of our studies
We publish our studies with their data. This page is the central catalogue of our research: every study from the newsroom is listed here, and every research article we publish refers back to it and sources from it. Every study is published with its full methodology and its data file, free to reuse with a citation of the source; the download (CSV) lives on each study's page — except the impersonation census register and the signal-seller list, which are shared on request with journalists and researchers.

Illegal and Licensed Gambling Live on the Same Bank Account
157.2 million transactions from 38,000 people reread by the Gambling Commission: 3,426 illegal payments detected, 91% of repeat illegal gamblers also active with licensed operators, and 45% scoring 8 or more on the PGSI against 6%.
Fake Chicken Road: 84 surfaces trading on the game's name
84 surfaces trade on the Chicken Road name — 25 documented listings in the largest Android app store, 21 standalone sites, 14 APK mirrors — while the game itself has no app, no website and no notifications.
The signal-seller economy
16 signal-seller offers captured on 26 October 2026: from $9.99 a month to $5,500, claims of 90% to 99% — and none publishes a checkable method behind its percentage.
France's illegal gambling market, figure by figure
France's two famous illegal-market figures are one and the same measurement: 2025 scenarios of €0.9–1.9bn (ANJ 2023: €0.748–1.5bn), with 5.4 million estimated players against 3.5 million legal ones.
The real cost of low cashout
Cashing out at 1.01x costs 2% of everything wagered: zero of 1,000 runs finished ahead over a full wagering requirement, and the median loss is 20.3 units per 1,000 wagered (1 million simulated rounds).
Unlicensed online gambling in francophone Africa
Only three of five countries publish an official figure: in Morocco, around 40% of stakes are said to flow to unregulated operators, according to the MDJS itself; Côte d'Ivoire counts more than 500 unlicensed sites and an estimated 6 billion FCFA in turnover.
Crash-game predictors: the 10,000-round demonstration
10,000 rounds, one seed: the predictor loses 218.5 units; the fixed cashout that ignores history loses 160 — a re-runnable demonstration with open data.
Crash game statistics — 1,000,000 simulated rounds
1,000,000 simulated rounds: bust distribution, cashout survival curve, realized vs theoretical RTP — the full dataset free to download.
